Try this unique way of enjoying the peppery zing and loads of antioxidants found in watercress with this beautiful buttermilk-watercress concoction. It is high in vitamin C and makes a beautiful cooler for brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups packed chopped watercress
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add the packed chopped watercress and buttermilk along with celery salt, and blend until smooth. Pour over ice and serve immediately.

Notes

If you like your coolers a little less bitter, reduce the chopped watercress by 1/2 cup.
