Try this unique way of enjoying the peppery zing and loads of antioxidants found in watercress with this beautiful buttermilk-watercress concoction. It is high in vitamin C and makes a beautiful cooler for brunch.
- 1 1/2 cups packed chopped watercress
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- In a blender, add the packed chopped watercress and buttermilk along with celery salt, and blend until smooth. Pour over ice and serve immediately.
If you like your coolers a little less bitter, reduce the chopped watercress by 1/2 cup.
