This vinaigrette is especially good on Little Gem lettuce. Drizzle over steamed and grilled vegetables, or spread over a mild fish or chicken and grill.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon white-wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except for the extra-virgin olive oil.
  2. Whisk in the 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate until ready to use.
