Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 3 ounces coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 cup room temperature espresso, strong coffee, or strong instant coffee
  • 3 ounces creamer of choice
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon, a dollop of whip cream, and a few coffee beans for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Make the espresso or coffee, and let it cool, if possible. (See Notes.)
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker up halfway with ice.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to the shaker and shake for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Strain into glasses and garnish with a little pumpkin spice, whipped cream, and coffee beans, optional.

Notes

Substitute ground cinnamon if you do not have pumpkin spice.

If you can’t wait for the coffee to cool, be sure to pour it in last, so as not to melt the ice cubes.
