This gorgeous, simple cocktail is incredibly light and refreshing. The rosemary enhances the herbaceousness of the Lillet, the lemon adds a bright note, and the bubbly topper gives this cocktail just the right amount of glamour. Bonus: it translates into a delicious mocktail too.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces chilled Lillet Blanc
- 1 ounce Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Chilled sparkling wine, Prosecco, or sparkling water
- Fresh rosemary sprig and lemon slice, for garnish
Instructions
- In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine Lillet Blanc, Rosemary Simple Syrup, and the lemon juice. Cover and shake for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with a generous splash of sparkling wine, Prosecco, or sparkling water.
- Garnish with rosemary sprig and lemon slice.
Notes
- Be sure to use fresh lemon juice.
- Make this a mocktail by omitting the Lillet Blanc and substituting sparkling water for the sparkling wine.
