March 2024 Newsletter

I love March because it signals the arrival of spring with the vibrant blooms of crocus and daffodil, announcing the end of the cold and the beginning of bright, sunny weather. These flowers bring a splash of color to the landscape, lifting spirits and reminding us that warmer days are just around the corner. The anticipation of longer days filled with sunshine and getting into my garden, makes March a month full of hope and joy!

Welcome Spring with Seasonal Vegetables

March brings Saint Paddy's Day, with traditional Irish dishes like this Irish Stout Stew. It's also a perfect time to transition from the cold to the budding warmth of spring with the arrival of fresh produce. March is an ideal time to start enjoying seasonal vegetables, such as artichokes, asparagus, and peas in light soups and refreshing salads, signaling the beginning of lighter and brighter meals ahead.
